Jambalaya
Made jambalaya today for dinner. Mom is on strike so Dad and I have to take turn cooking. First time ever making jambalaya... I am a big fan of Creole/Cajun cooking, but I never really did make any Cajun food before. Well... the jambalaya turned out ok. Haven't had any Cajun food lately.. and kinda forgot how jambalaya should taste like. At least edible... ha ha.

but don't worry, i think sooner or later she can't stand u guys' "cooking" and u'll find her cooking in the kitchen one day when u get back from work or sth..

mom's sicking tired of cooking for us everyday. so she decided to go on strike. she did make some bread today though... had jambalaya again tonight, still haven't finished it all.
jambalaya is a cajun dish.. basically a tomato sauce based dish with rice, smoked sauage and shrimp (or chicken or other sea food). Very good gar.
I guess if she has jambalaya everynight, she will start cooking soon :)
