"To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down."
sacrifice ... but 'no pain, no gain' ... you sacrifice, and you gain a relationship, or you gain an experience ... or you gain a marriage? but to love your family is no way consider a "sacrifice' ... btw, just browse your pictures .. from HKG trip ... there are 3 questions in my mind; (i) is your sister a non-chinese? (ii) if the gal in the picture, not your sister, then ... who is she? (iii) u were not in any of the photos ...
you sacrifice... as a demonstration of love. even, even to your family.
to answer your questions...
i) my sister is chinese. why wouldn't she be chinese? she is not in any of the pictures because i haven't uploaded all the pictures yet. i will in the near future.
ii) she is my ex-coworker. she went to hong kong for my sister's wedding and sightseeing. to answer the question you have in mind immediately after reading this answer... no, she is not my girlfriend.
iii) coz i am the one taking all the pictures. hmm... actually i was in some of the pictures... i will put them online very soon.
I just think that if you REALLY LOVE someone, whatever you (have) do to him/her you yourself won't see as a "sacrifice" - if love from the bottom of your heart you'll be "happy" that you can do certain things for the loved one...
It's only in 3rd party's eyes that you're "sacrificing" - oh when there's no more love....
