You know what makes me truly happy after I get home from work every evening?
Seeing the kids playing outside... and Douglas would come up to me and say... Can you fix my scooter? ... and Daisy would ask.... Can you play race with me?

That seems a fun time for you to relax. Er ... are you possibly looking for having a kid (or kids)? Are you possibly thinking about adopting a kid? Just me thinking out loud ...
Playing with kids can help you forget about the bad stuff. I worked as a child care assistant for three years when I was in high school and college. I really, really enjoyed the times back then when playing with children; they were so cute and cheerful. I took pictures with every kid and built a big pictorial collage that I hung on the wall to enlighten my day while studying in school.
wittybb, adopt a kid if I can't "produce" one... but first, find someone whom I can share my life with. Complete my missing half. :)
cpmf14, you have any kids yourself?
Daisy said the other day... China man China man... (referring to me)... Douglas said, "Don't call him China man. His name is Jack!"
Yes, JC, I am married with two kids; my girl is 8.5 years old and my boy is 7. They were both born in Hong Kong.
Daisy and Douglas, how old are they?
Douglas' 6 and I think Daisy's probably 5.
You know, looking back I just realized that I was 17 when I worked in the childcare and the children were from ages 4 to 8 years old. Fast forward to 2007 I am now 41 yrs old and the "kids" should now be 28 to 32 yrs old...they are grown men and women now.
Time passes us by quickly, doesn't it?
Jack - I just saw your conservatory photos...they look like they are straight out of a garden catalogue! Fantastic!

Thanks, Debi.
