Thoughts, random thoughts mostly. I guess it's a good idea that I write them down. Just in case...

we get Maria's bakery and cafe here in the metro area (30 minutes drive from my place). the food quality has gone down a bit since my last visit - quote from cpmf14 experience a few weeks ago. also got instant pack ... JC, you can go to chicago chinatown and get a cup of milk tea, or ying yang. correct?
Haha. I was just craving for hk milk tea and made myself a cup (just a heavier regular tea to fulfill my craving for now - use carnation milk seems to work better) - what a coincidence that I came across your post :)
I don't like the instant ones too much.. I can never make them right, even with 2 pkgs.

yeah I can go chinatown. I do have some instant packs. They are all in my office though. My boss actually likes milk tea very much.
Same here. I am a Hong Kong milk tea lover over coffee on any given day.
When I was living in HK, I would not drink a cup of coffee, only milk tea.

Come to Toronto :) They have some good ones here.
actually I think the instant packs are not too bad. The Lipton ones are better.
I agree with 可可. Toronto has excellent HK milk tea. My family visits Toronto twice-a-year and drinking milk tea is a must for us.
Instant ones aren't bad, too. They are very close to the real thing.
