My neighbors' kids made this heart-shaped sign with gravel right on the sidewalk by my garage. Thought it was kinda cute. End of Love? I suppose?

I actually see something else - a heart full of something inside. Kids normally and usually don't think of unhappy events when they draw or create a piece of art work. You should have asked your neighbor's kid and found out what was inside the heart - you may be surprised ;-)
U can clearly see the word "END" in the heart. To me, it's more like... the end of a story. You know... at the end of a cartoon.. you would see
"THE END" inscribed in a heart.
Could be the Initails of the kids who put this together - Emily and David, for example ;-)
E n D as in Emily and David ...
oh yeah hor.
You know, it's interesting that with just one picture (or a piece of an artwork in this case), you and I see things differently (or the interpretation of it).

er.. i've a preference w/ other initials.. hahahahahahahahahhaa *david, nothing personal!* hahahahahahahaha
i still see it as a smiley face.... too bad can't draw it / post it here hahahahahaha
So what did the kids say?
dunno if I'll get to speak to the kid who did it. I think some of them were visiting that weekend.
