I think it is a woman, with big boobs and big butt.
The vibrant color used on the statue lead me to think some 'happy/joyful' creature. Did you look a the sign next to the statue?

no i did NOT see a sign from the picture. i was just 'guessing/assuming' there could be a sign ... next to it.
They have most of the sculpture outside in the garden.. but they are still working on the garden... June 1 is when it opens up.
so, with that said: JC has a task - please go find out the name or the meaning of the statue ... :) LOL
