Untitled

When reality hits you smack in the face,
it's got to hurt.
It is unsettling.
But truth cannot be denied.
Intuition has its place?
Or experience calling its shots?
The unknown is the biggest fear of all.
Shall we lift this fear
by revealing our true selves underneath?

Life is what it is.

I used to worry too much.

Now I am taking it easily everyday.

Although occassionally I still worry about something, but I know my thinking and approach have changed.

Why do we worry? Is it because:

1. Are we afraid of losing what we have today?

2. Are we afraid of the unexpected?

3. Are we afraid because good times usually don't last long?

4. Are we afraid of failures?

5. Are we afraid of the long road ahead of us?

We can probably make up a very long list of "reasons", but again, life is what it is; I have learned to "let it be" and "let it be".

So be it.

well... i think that's the excitement being able to experience the expected. otherwise, one person's life is so boring. sometimes unexpected good things happen in my life, i am very grateful that this is too good to be true. sometimes i ask myself, 'why me?' it's all perspective ... or feeling is relative to your previous experience/memory.
i guess you try to handle thing one day at a time and enjoy the journey of what ever you are doing today/tomorrow ...

"not to worry" is easier said than done. but with knowledge and experience, we can worry considerably less. so... you get wiser and you grow older.

i am reading a book called "Stumblingion Happiness" by Prof. Daniel Gilbert. in that, Prof. Gilbert proclaims that "the human being is the only animal that thinks about the future." i haven't finished reading it--in fact i am still in chapter 3 (total 11 chapters). but i guess it is this very foreseeing ability that we stumble on finding happiness in life.
