We were talking about the fall foliage...
Mom: Dad told me that the leaves are turning brown because the trees are 謝了!
Me: Oh yeah?
Mom: He's stupid. I say, not enough nutrients... Leaves turned brown.
Me: Well... not quite.
Mom: Dad's so thin and weak.... that's why his hair is turning grey.
Me: Not quite either... His hair is turning grey because he's 謝了!

He usually has. In fact, I was driving at the time when I had that conversation with Mom. Dad was sitting at the back seat. Now I come to think about it. He didn't say a word. Was he angry? I wouldn't know. But anyway, he is well trained by my mom, if you know what I mean.
My dad is a great dad. I know he wouldn't mind. He was probably happy that what he said provided me and my mom some entertainment.
Your dad might be thinking in the backseat: "Wait till you get old and have your own kids.. " to you
Yeah I agree. He must have been thinking just that.
